Dazzling view from mount Grona of Lake Como and Menaggio. Directly from town you can reach the splendid Val Sanagra Park and walk through its canyon. The villages of Varenna, Bellagio and Tremezzo, the villas and gardens and breathtaking views. are only few minutes of ferry or bus.
THE WAY UP TO THE RIFUGIO MENAGGIO
The hike to Rifugio Menaggio starts in Breglia and is of medium length and difficulty. It offers the opportunity to have a drink or a traditonal dish at the hut.
If you continue 15 minutes more (to Pizzo Coppa) or make it all the way to the top of Monte Grona (three different routes from the Rifugio), you will never forget the great views on Lake Como, Lake Piano and Lake Lugano.
THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE (MENAGGIO, BELLAGIO, VARENNA)
In summer using a daily pass to move around at will from one village to another and in winter using the ferry service and limiting visits to Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna alone.
